Welcome
Supporting Your Healing Journey in Therapy
We're Ready to Connect
Who We Are
Often healing comes through relationships and by building positive interactions and safe emotional connections with those most important to us. We work with couples, families, and individuals looking to create or restore connection, healing, and hope.
We also recognize the importance of spiritual healing for many and encourage time for prayer, meditation, and/or being in nature.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you. Together, we can discover and work towards your personal healing goals.
We work from a systemic attachment-based framework and have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is an empirically validated and successful model to work with couples and families.
We are also a trauma informed practice, trained in EMDR. EMDR is proven to be effective in guiding the mind and body’s healing from traumatic experiences.
Our clinical experience has been serving couples, families, and individuals with varied emotional, mental, and behavioral issues: anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, relational distress, life transitions, grief, and loss.
The World is Full of Suffering, It is Also Full of the Overcoming of It.

About the Founder......
Autumn McCain, MPP, MS, LMFT- Practice Founder & Owner
Compassionate, Authentic, Skilled, Systemic. My life work is committed to walking alongside you empathetically during your healing journey. My own loss, tragedy, and pain brought me to this work. I know only to be myself as we walk along. The hope is for you to show up only as you are also.
A Licensed Therapist
In addition to my life experiences, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have advanced training in EFT (for Relational Healing) and am trained in EMDR therapy (for Trauma Recovery). I have a Crisis Intervention certification From Cornell University and am a Dynamic Marriage Facilitator with my husband. I am an alum from Hampton University, Duke University, and Capella University. I believe in lifelong learning and continued growth.
The Journey That Made Me
Curious about those life experiences I mentioned? I am forever a child welfare advocate; daughter of the military and of alcoholism. I am the mother of a stillborn child and of two miscarriages. I am the daughter of deceased parents. I often struggle with feeling invisible and of not being enough. I am also a mother of three beautiful and talented children, a wife of 22 plus years, and a woman of faith.
